Working alongside Mr.Spirti and Mr.Mellinger was a great and valuable educational experience. They introduced me to several fields of law including Real Estate and Personal Injury. I got real hands-on experience actively working alongside the attorneys to compile information from clients and move forward with cases. This was the perfect internship to step foot into the legal field!

Caserta & Spiriti is a great place to work for. It offers practical hands-on experience and specialized training programs for interns to connect the real business and legal world. Friendly workplace but with serious attitude to handle matters and things regards the business and client. Meanwhile, since I completed the accounting intern in the firm, I was trained to use Quickbooks and learned more things regards bank reconciliation, financial reports, and bookkeeping for the firm.

I had a great time at Caserta & Spiriti. I learned a lot in the process from some great lawyers there at the office. Bob and Joe is who I worked with primarily and it went very well. Not only was I able to gain experience but I also gained their trust and that gave me the confidence to want to further my career in law. At the end of the internship they all also wrote letter of recommendations for my law school application. Great office, and a great atmosphere to be a part of.

As a young aspiring law student, Caserta & Spiriti provided a great opportunity to me with an office internship. I was able to get an in-depth look into the inner workings of a successful firm as well as understand the dynamics of a structured office environment. I learned firsthand about various areas of the law and received advice on how to navigate through law school and work as a professional lawyer. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have learned so much as a college student and especially now as a licensed attorney, I still take to heart skills and advice given from my internship.

Since I’m still in high school I still have a long way to go in this career, but this internship showed me how this industry works. I was involved with some of the business meetings, planning of the projects, and speaking with the clients. I was always given feedback and constructive criticism on tasks. Overall, I would recommend this internship, and would do it again.

The internship was a worthwhile experience and I feel that it has prepared me well for my professional career. I will take all the learning tools of the internship with me in applying for and analyzing future opportunities. It provided to student like me with a clear understanding of their assignments and expectations. Lastly, the people I was surrounded with were very informative and welcoming.

Following my internship, I found myself recalling many instances of situations that were applicable to things I was currently invested in. Without my internship, I would not have learned a lot of the fundamental skills/ technical inner workings of a law firm. Starting law school soon, I feel prepared knowing I have been in such a circumstance that enabled me to have exposure to the field. I feel secure knowing I have law firm experience on my resume. The legal internship at Caserta & Spiriti was a wonderful peek into the business of law. The internship provided considerable knowledge and exceptional hands on experience that has not only better prepared me for graduate school, but will also guide me through the program and into the field.

My accounting internship was nothing short of a great learning experience. As my first internship, it provided me the opportunity to apply what I was learning in my accounting classes to the real-world, as well as about the legal sector. The environment encouraged professional growth and allowed me to build my technical skills in QuickBooks and Excel. They were very helpful in answering my questions and guiding me in the right direction. Overall, I had a great internship and enjoyed gaining hands-on work experience.

This internship helped cement my interest in the law. Through this experience I learned so many skills that helped me in college and on my current pursuit of a top 50 law school acceptance.

I enjoyed getting to do a variety of things during my internship, from working directly with the musical artists to maintaining all artistic work legally up-to-date. Additionally, the supervising attorneys and the staff really made me feel part of the team during my short-term internship. Caserta & Spiriti was an excellent internship experience. While interning at Caserta & Spiriti I gained valuable knowledge and insight to the legal field. I also learned different aspects of the legal system. I learned getting the attention of opposing counsel, judges and even you’re client is difficult. Being an excellent lawyer is getting the job done despite the obstacles, and paperwork.

When I entered the internship, Joe provided me comprehensive guidance, helping me sharpen my communication, analytical, business skills, and gain essential work environment experience to work as a team member. I gained valuable experience that I still use today. I was able to understand the none glamour side to the industry. I was to work on a project from its inception until the end. I was involved in the business meetings, planning of the projects, and meeting with the clients on set. I was given feedback and constructive criticism on tasks. I appreciated that everyone would take the time to answer my questions or when correcting my work the person would explain why it was wrong and why it needed to get done a certain way. I was always treated with respect and as a professional.

The accounting internship at Caserta & Spiriti was highly educational for me. I came in with minimal knowledge about accounting let alone things like accounting software and document management systems, but came out with expertise in QuickBooks and Microsoft SharePoint. The administrative assistants that supervised me were always very helpful and ready to guide me through any unexpected problems. And the end of the internship, when I taught the next accounting intern, was useful for helping to reinforce what I learnt throughout the three month program. Overall, I would recommend other finance and accounting majors to go for this internship, it really teaches you a lot and is great if you lack prior accounting experience.

This internship was extremely helpful and educational, Joseph, Bob, and David (The bosses) were always incredibly kind and respectful but also humorous and fun to be around. The environment is very welcoming and professional but still light-hearted and fun when it counts. The longer I worked here the more experience I gained whether it was for my major, work experience for my professional and academic resume, or just life experience. And once their number is in your contacts its their for life.

Working at Caserta & Spiriti has helped teach me the qualities necessary to being the best that I can be going into future jobs. It had helped provide me with the work ethic needed throughout not only my professional life, but also within my academic career. I greatly appreciated my time working here and will continue to strive for excellence even beyond this internship.

My experience working for Caserta and Spiriti served me as my stepping stone to the next phase in my life. Thanks to the training Joe gave me, I was able to establish myself as a professional and put my foot in the door of the world of law. The internship program was excellent and the work I did was valuable. Also, all the lawyers at the firm are very respectful and polite. But the person that served as mentor the most to me was Joseph Spiriti, he is a true leader and he always makes sure I had everything I needed in order to feel comfortable and respected as an intern. I had an opportunity to work in the office of Caserta & Spiriti focusing on real-estate and entertainment matters. What I valued the most is the exceptional work ethics of all members of the firm. I took part in Caserta & Spiriti’s 12-week legal internship to gain knowledge in the realm of law. Prior to this opportunity, I had never been placed in a legal setting and therefore wanted to learn the most I could from these amazing attorneys. To start off, you must have a hunger for learning and trying new things. The internship has its challenges and it is up to you to solve them. Don’t be surprised if you encounter some challenges on your first or second week. The internship is structured to make you learn and forces you to adapt to an issue almost instantly. Joe, Bob, and David are knowledgeable attorneys that will push you to be great. I learned so much of what I know today from them. From personal injury law to corporate law, these attorneys are truly fantastic and great people. If I could give a piece of advise to any aspiring attorney, it would be to complete this program. This program is truly one of a kind and something that deserves merit.

This was my first accounting internship in my collegiate career. I think it is a great place to start for those with little to no experience. There was a consistent workload, but nothing too overbearing or complex. If you desire to have an internship that is more advance or has a heavy focus on the technical aspect, I would recommend looking at other opportunities. But at an entry level, this was a great way to ease into the accounting profession. It is an intimate, small firm where you are able to develop soft skills and utilize programs that you’ll encounter again in real world scenarios (Outlook, Excel, QuickBooks). I thoroughly enjoyed my time interning here.

My tenure as an accounting/finance intern at Caserta & Spiriti was an invaluable experience that immediately translated into my work career. I applied for the internship as my interest in accounting grew through courses taken at Johnson & Wales University. This experience provided me with tangible scenarios and work-related endeavors that I would have otherwise not received in a classroom setting. In doing so, I was able to not only use the tools I had learned but also understand how to apply that knowledge to the workforce. The work environment resembled a casual, work-friendly unit that was professional and open. The attorneys, their assistants, and interns maintained constant communication which aided in full coherence of roles and expectations. This allowed for all interns to understand on a daily basis what was to be expected of them. My role and responsibilities consisted of assisting with month-end financial reports, posting of journal entries, entering invoices, assisting with accounts payable, credit card processing, utilizing Quickbooks, and liaising with vendors. Conclusively, my time at this esteemed firm has greatly impacted my accounting career not just by what I did but the manner in which I did it. From constant communication amongst coworkers to feeling fully comfortable in my environment, Caserta & Spiriti on my resume reveals to future employers that I can handle the workload and standards of the career.

I had a summer internship before my junior year of college. It was such an amazing experience. The legal experience gained here has helped me tremendously in class and at work.
