ATTORNEY DAVID T. CASERTA

David T. Caserta represents clients in general business matters, which include, but are not limited to, contract negotiation, business infra-structure and transactions, real estate and entertainment.

David began his career in college by getting his Real Estate and Mortgage licenses. For more than 20 years he was involved in the acquisition, development, leasing, financing, debt restructuring and disposition of real estate projects in Florida. These include residential properties, office buildings, apartment projects, shopping centers, hotels, mixed-use developments, and industrial projects. He has also served as a respected Court Appointed Receiver and Government Monitor for the U.S. Marshalls Office.

He has been active in public life for close to two decades.  He began his political career in 1991 when he was elected the youngest Councilman for the City of North Miami and rose to the rank of Vice-Mayor. During his time on the council, his innovative ideas resulted in a positive impact on crime, education and the local economy.

In 1994, David decided to enter the Government relations business. He has since represented a variety of clients before the  Florida legislature and local governments in the areas of education, transportation, healthcare, government, non-for-profits, entertainment and other key industries. David also acts as an independent consultant for private corporations on general business matters such as development and regulation.

Shortly thereafter, in fulfillment of his childhood wishes, David had an opportunity to attend law school. Married with two kids, in 2000 he earned his Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University. He has since used his law degree to even further aid his clients on general business matters. As founder of Caserta & Spiriti, he engages in contract negotiations, leases and purchase agreements, and personal services.

David’s firm also represents business organization, joint ventures, corporate, Sub-Chapter S, and LLC formation and operations, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, minutes and bylaws, contracts. David is also a certified Florida Supreme Court Mediator.

_MG_8913He currently travels the Country sharing his experiences and stories with students and young professionals with his character building leadership seminar. Another one of his dreams is to help change the thought process of today’s youth from one of play to one of focus on career and life.
